Someone (the Oracle, I guess) left this in the vegan-awesome section of the store. I say it was the Oracle because obviously they knew they’d need a new notebook before they stepped out for the day.

They are jackhammering outside our house at 10:00 at night. They’ve got a lighting rig that illuminates the entire intersection as if it were dawn. No services had been disrupted, and they hadn’t worked on anything all day. I can only imagine someone just realized they left their iPhone down there yesterday when they were jackhammering out there.

The one thing the iPhone desperately needs is an “under the covers laying on your side trying to do stuff without disturbing the other people* in the bed auto-rotate override” mode.
Someone get on that, would you?
*Yeah, what about it?
YES TOTALLY. Every morning, before I get up, I check e-mail and twitter from bed, but trying not to disturb my sleeping husband. The auto rotate drives me nuts!
The ‘Verse must know I’m sick because I’m watching all kinds of Discovery/Learning/Animal Planet channel shows that I never would between naps. So I’m watching ‘Ace of Cakes’ for the first time and they’re making a Firefly-themed cake of Serenity.
Shiny.

More of what I’ve been up to. In the next round of the Moleskine Exchange, I’ll be working in a watercolor book. Unless I’ve completely forgotten everything I’ve learned, I’m a fair hand at watercolor painting. In fact, I’m going to have to dig up the watercolor I did in High School of Dave Gahan. It hung in the front display case all year at school, which is basically a glorified version of my mother putting it on the refrigerator except she never put my artwork up anywhere.
Anyway. I can do watercolor, no problem. But I really want to do something different, so I have a special plan for this piece and three more in the series of birds. Wait ‘til they get a load of me. ;)

Rubber stamp design for stamping the back of my prints or for pretending I run my own post office in the Alternate Ballookiverse.

WHICH ONE?! I can’t decideeeee
I’m reminded by this that it was my plan to get a tattoo before the end of the year. And not a modest one, either. It’s still my plan, and I’ve finally worked out what precisely the design should be. I just need a little time to draw it out. Maybe I should get it started on November 13th, you know, for kicks? Well, either way I better get on that - only 2.5 months to go and I don’t want this to be One Of Those Things that never gets done.](http://9.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_krrvlcV9v11qzpceco1_500.jpg)
