ALHAMBRA, Calif.—A hit-and-run driver has killed a 78-year-old man in a wheelchair.
Police in the San Gabriel Valley town of Alhambra say the man was struck shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in a dark tunnel below a freeway.
Sgt. Brandon Black says Shih-saing Ho of Alhambra was in motorized wheelchair in a traffic lane when he was hit from behind and dragged about 20 feet.
